I did a photo shoot earlier this month for Sarah – one of the most gorgeous looking models I have ever met. Not only she is beautiful and cute, Sarah has one of the most pleasant personality. Every single person I have shown her photos to, love her.

I am going to build a website for her this week. I hope, the website will help land her more modeling gigs in the future.

Summer Night

Taking a break after dinner, I sat in the camping recliner in the backyard, and look up the narrow strip of night sky between fence and roof. I saw the Big Dipper.

While many states are having a record high heat wave and drought this Summer, California is experiencing a record cool Summer. It was very nice sitting outside at night, enjoying the cool breeze and whiskey.

Pigeon Point Lighthouse

Pigeon Point Lighthouse, is located on the coastal highway 1, 5 miles south of Pescadero, California, is the tallest lighthouse on the West Coast of the United States.

I remember, I bought a poster featuring the lighthouse in the storm, from Walmart in Hayward, California when I first moved here from Kansas 13 years ago. That was actually the only poster I ever bought in the States. It’s called “Beacon of Hope”

I re-visited the lighthouse last month, with a visiting friend, Jamie from Taiwan. There, I shown Jamie, the California state flower – California Poppy. Poppies were abundance along the trail leading to the cove next to the lighthouse. The cove was surrounded by interesting coastal rock formations.

It’s still my favourite lighthouse.

Did a Positive Bar Girls photo shoot 2 weeks ago in the “no-name” park next to FaultLine Brewery in Sunnyvale. The first model was Amy.

Amy from Campbell. California, played basketball, and music, so I was told. She shown up in a dashing red dress and a pair of high heels. She is punctual, friendly, and professional. I enjoyed shooting her.

Berry Creek Falls

Berry Creek Falls, the last time I visited the falls was a decade ago. There, I met Gary Rose, a photographer/engineer from KLA Tencor.

Hiked the same trail a decade later, the old memory came back to me.

I am glad I made it back to Berry Creek Falls again.

Big Basin State Park

It was a very long time ago (over a decade) when I last hiked in Big Basin State Park in Santa Cruz Mountains. Took a visiting friend from Shanghai to do a 5 miles loop hike 2 weeks ago.

The weather was perfect that day. We enjoyed the the park and hike.
